Eurojust, Europol and 12 countries have taken down the pro-Russia hacktivist group NoName057(16). The group carried out multiple distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on critical European infrastructure, including power suppliers and public transport.
The Commission has presented its proposal for the most ambitious long-term EU budget to date. Almost €2 trillion, or 1.26% of the EU’s gross national income, will support Europe in its ambitions for an independent, prosperous, secure and thriving society and economy over the coming decade.
A new Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) has been agreed on between the EU and Indonesia. The agreement will promote trade and investment, foster inclusive and sustainable growth, and strengthen supply chains. CEPA will also support cooperation on critical raw materials.
